I have rated Rip Tide three out of five stars because there were a lot of exciting parts, but they could have added some more details between settings and characters. If you haven't read the first book ,dark life you should before you read Rip Tide. Another thing about this book it is a science fiction book and has mystery.

The reason why I put this reason is because I want to show how they could of put details so we compare later on if you read the book. In the book it was talking about characters like Shade th nly told about how he looked liked. They didn’t talked about what he was wearing, so how do we know what he looks like if they didn’t tell us about his clothes.Another thing about this reason is there are always tell good stuff, like good description of the main characters, but they don’t really give good description about the other characters in the book.

If you like science fiction or even a little mystery in your book. Then this is the right book to read in your spare time. Science fiction is about things that could happen in real life in the future. I also like mystery because you don’t know what is going to happen next. So you keep on reading to find out what happen like for an example: Who will die first in a scary book or murder book. Finally the thing about this book is will there be any more books like it in the future.

You should read the first book to understand the series and what will happen. In the first book it talks about the main characters and the description of the characters. Another thing about reading the first book is that it tells the setting on the story so you don’t get confused on where they were at in the second book. Finally the thing about this book is tells what happen to make what the characters what they are.

I would recommend this to others if you like science fiction or if you like a little mystery in your book. These are my reasons why like this book, but the one thing i don’t like is not putting enough effort into the writing in the book.
